June's Journey: Hidden Objects
Railway Riddles Answers,
Carriage 1
Compartment 101: “Black cat”. It is known for bad luck, and there are 3 of them in the compartment.
Compartment 102: “Rose”. Back in the 1st compartment, it is the one thing in the light.
Compartment 103: “Silhouetted”. It is the name of the JJ song playing on the radio. You can find it on the June's Journey soundtrack or ask your smartphone to listen and name the title.
Carriage 2
Entry to carriage 2 = “565”. Watch the JJ-sponsored youtube video described on the Conductor's note in compartment #103 safe, "Eleanor Neale: Murder in the Graveyard." Behind her on the desk are stacks of poker chips: 5 black, 7 red, and 3 blue. Do math: 5x100 + 7x5 +3x10 = 565.
Compartment 201: “Amateur”. Samuel M. is Samuel Morse, inventor of Morse Code. Find the dots and dashes down the panel on the right side. Use a morse code translator to get "amateur".
Compartment 202: “Pomegranate”. Search YouTube or use the hint button in the room to watch Goodnight Moon's video of her mixing cocktails on a 1920’s train. Around minute 6 she mixes the drink and includes her special ingredient, pomegranate (juice).
Compartment 203: “Blue”. Riddle describes the brown butterfly plaque on the compartment wall. Go to the very first scene of the June's Journey game and look for the color of her sisters, the 3 butterflies next to the fountain. Their wings are blue.
Carriage 3
Entry to carriage 3 = “2384”. These are the next 4 digits of pi, after the ones that start on The Conductor’s notes and continue in the 3 compartments.
Compartment 301: “Carrots”. Of the 5 vegetables in the room, the carrot is the only vegetable that is the root of the plant and not the seeding fruit of the plant.
Compartment 302: “Bird”. Posted Sept. 30 (Sept 29 evening in western hemisphere) on the June’s Journey app page on Facebook is a photo of a baby bird.
Compartment 303: “Doing it ourselves”. Using a periodic table of elements, like the one pictured in the compartment, substitute the numbers with the corresponding elemental letter(s) symbol.
Entry to the head of the train: “Gold rose”. In the background of both videos from previous riddles (Eleanor Neale’s Murder in the Graveyard and Goodnight Moon’s Cocktail on a 1920’s Train), there is a gold rose.
