remember that you can discard any campfire requests that you don't want to do (or cant do because its the wrong season to harvest a given crop). your focus should be in completing tasks - both of buildings and of campfire jobs. you need to finish campfire jobs to get blue coins which allow you to pay for buildings and their upgrades

Don't craft the requests for large numbers of items because you put too much effort into the work for small rewards and they take up too much space in the store house. Discard those - there's an achievement award for being a diva! Save your resources for upgrading buildings. As you go to higher levels you need more materials for upgrading so no point making lots of stuff that's going to vanish and you get more points for single items.

It is important to expand the storehouse, and also to manage the inventory. Do not make too much food, only make it to fulfil the campfire requests. Would be good to keep a supply of some raw materials (e.g. ingredients) to make different types of food later.
