Ah. I'm playing on an iPhone, not leaving that on for two hours around midnight. The seasons and fire starter thing are the only things I've not completed, but seeing as this seems like a bug, I'm done... until it updates again. I'm on level 71, but the community tasks have stopped, so the game is pretty much stalled.

I've not heard that will give that a try, although that's midnight in the UK. Not sure I can be bothered to stay up late just to log in!

There's now a new boathouse on the north shore. You can send people there to go trade.

I don't think there's any way to save the progress. It's just all part of the app.
