*have the WANT

Does anyone know if the married couples in childbearing age have to like take turns wanting a baby? I know only one couple can have the want at a time, but I'm trying to see if there's like a pattern to picking who's gonna want one next so that I can assign long tasks ahead of time. Also, any clue how long after a baby is born until the next couple will have the wind?
