Don't worry about it ... not in your main castle. Unless you only want to farm, you need lots of higher level troops there. If your upkeep is lower than your production, you'll never be able to fight.

Build a separate farm castle with tier 1 and/or tier 4 siege troops. Other low level troops are fine too, but you'll gather much more with siege troops. Also, certain tiers of siege (T1 and T4) have much higher load levels than the others. Train only enough troops to fill the number of marches you have available,

Having a farm with low tier trooos, that you only use for gathering/storing allows you to get the large amounts of resources that you need to upgrade without worrying about upkeep. I'm sure there's someone in your alliance/kingdom that can help you with the specifics.

A gift envelope is included in the Alliance Teleports Pack which is only available from Fridays 00:00 UTC to 23:59.UTC. (In the US, that's, from game reset Thursday night until reset on Friday). To be offered the Alliance Teleports Pack, you first have to purchase the regular Alliance packs up through the $49.99 (USD) level.

NOTE: Once the port pack is offered to you, if you don't buy them regularly, they'll stop offering them and you'll have to start over with buying the alliance packs. (I don't know how often you have to buy the port packs to continue being offered them.)
