On some devices the beginner hill alpacas are always the same color. (I think it might be an Android Apple difference) You can use the attacks on the right hand side of your screen if you want to level up but on the left hand side you can click on rope and capture a random alpaca. Even if you don't like it you can still sell it later. Once you capture your other alpaca just level one up to level five and then you will have unlocked Alpaca Hill.
