@Lotte, the original hairstyle (the one that is easier to get first) is sunflower. The only way to get childhood heart, according to the game, is to dye sunflower -- so you probably had sunflower, dyed it into childhood heart, then realized you needed sunflower again and dyed it back. @Rain: you can only get 1 sunflower ... but you've figured it out so that's great!
For future readers -- to clarify @Jasmin's (correct) stateent, you keep 1 of each item after CRAFTING, but you lose all of them after CUSTOMIZING (dying) an item. In other words, the recipe for bunny suit requires 1 sunflower, and even if you only have 1, you will still have 1 left after crafting. However, if you dye it into Childhood heart, you will no longer have any sunflower left.

Ah lol AnimLover098 is talking about the "materials" item that you need to use to customize stuff. Mostly you get it from decomposing clothes, it's much much cheaper than spending starlight coins to buy it. You can acually sell material for 2 coins each.

Sexy bad girl suit, nothing else -- not even makeup. You don't need all the items, chain necklace for example is a pavillion drop, and you probably only need rare level Wild hair (although i've heard basic works too, depends on the levels of your skills)

4-12 is basically there to make sure you have level 4,5 at least on all skills. Don't forget to use critical eye, since grading is based on the score difference b/w you and the bot, not your obj score.

Yep. In the princess level, you are forbidden to use anything other than the sexy bad girl suit. As in: no makeup, no headwear, nothing extra -- only the stuff from the suit will pass you, and to get an S, you will likely need the ENTIRE suit short the epic-level hair (I needed rare Wild) and the chain necklace (from pavillion)

use the nikki guide app -- although you really need the dancer's tulle to do well in 6-s3 (newborn wine works OK, but you're not getting an S in princess for sure)

Use the Nikki Guide app in the android store!
7-5: Momo's tips were enough for me. It might be useful to have the hyacinth top and brown pleated skirt bottom, as well as over level 4/5 in smile/charming/critical eye. You gain levels based on the difference in score between you and the bot, not your total score.
7-8: The swordgirl set is a must. But, you don't need the whole thing -- usually, just top + bottom is enough for these kinds of levels. Textiles leggings + Ranger shirt (unevolved version of top) with the appropriate accessories (see app!) and skill levels is enough for an S in princess. -

You get it through an achievement -- I believe, passing (or scoring S) in some number of maiden levels. To find where any item comes from, go to wardrobe (top left), click search (top left, little magnifying glass on top of a book), type your clothing item + hit search, click the item, and finally, click the "how to gain" button.
