Perseverance is the biggest key. I finally busted through 476. Whew. That was painful.

I have had Pam's experience. I haven't exactly given up completely (because I'm a glutton for punishment). I've gotten down to one dot, and in other games I'd immediately just pay the 99 cents for a few more turns--but not with this one. The slime is a killer. But thanks for the encouragement, Michael.

Yeah, this level is ridiculous. I'm giving up too....
