OK, I played this probably 50 times. Finally, I had cleared the bottom gravel and knocked a few off the side ones. They turned light brown at 3 moves to go. I placed a star swapper and flame gem smack in the middle and BAM! Make sure you have at least 1 hypercube, 2 star swappers, and 2 flame gem powers in your arsenal.

I have reached 302,000 but you need 320,000 to get 3 stars. I’ve tried everything, I even got the dark hypercube, but I still can’t reach 3 stars, only 2. Help!

I finally reached 3 stars on #517. As I recall, I waited until I had at least 2 stars of score and then added five moves and finished with a pair of hypercubes to push me over the top. I also grabbed every opportunity for power gems during the regular moves.

You just have to play it over and over until you get a Dark Hypercube within the first 10 moves. Turn the gems with highest number into Hypercubes and if your lucky use the Hypercubes on flame / star gems. I was able to get 200k + and with the 30 moves pushed me over 3 stars. You just have to grind it out.
"Dark Hypercube: Match 6 or more gems in a row.
- When you swap a Dark Hypercube, it changes all of the gems of the swapped color to Hypercubes."

I'm also stuck! Star items and explosions don't help, nor do hypercubes. Nothing goes in or out of them. I'm baffled.

Clear the stones in the middle first or as soon as possible. If you can, bump a hypercube and a star together. I I had to bump a flame and hyper cube and still had to bump a cube and a star.
