I know that to get rid of the feathers on the 3rd bird you have to get (I. Think) it is 12 birds of the same color in a row to make a fireball and it will blow a feather off. Unfortunately from what I can tell you will have to domthat 4 times and I am pretty sure that the fireball needs to end at the bottom close to the darn bird. Hope this helps
